It was a long day full of stress, but with the rewards of accomplishment to go with it. What I hadn't planned on was what happened when I headed home...(see the story).
I was at work, until I got called into the director's office to see what was going on. Then we stood up our emergency response unit in case we needed to respond anything local.
On a plane backing out of the gate in Las Vegas, coming home. It was five days before the planes flew again, and we were able to come home to Louisiana. Terrifying day when Las Vegas practically shut down.
