Sunday Morning Dawg
Sometimes the dog sits beside me with a disgusted look on his face, like I've forgotten something vitally important.
Food? Check. Water? Check. He just came in from outdoors, so I don't know what the problem is.

That looks to me like a snoot-scrunch.
Quite possible the dawg got into something that he doesn't like the smell of, or YOU did.
Plain as day, that dog is saying, "How 'bout grilling some burgers, Pawpaw?"
