Fox News is reporting that Trumps' former VP Mike Pence is expected to launch a campaign bid next week.
I like Pence. He has always struck me as an honorable, moral and ethical man. Of course, I like Trump, and DeSantis, and Tim Scott. However, there is room for only one nominee.
It's going to be a crowded field. Trump seems to be the going-away favorite right now.
Plenty of time for things to change.
ReplyDeletePence displayed his true mettle when he refused to fight an obviously stolen election.
ReplyDeleteHe is dead to me.

DeleteHonor, ethics, morality; politics allows little room for such virtues. To find evidence of these three in one politician is very rare.
ReplyDeletePawpaw, I do not share your optimism with regard to Pence.
Side note: I consider Clay Higgins to be the most virtuous in all of Congress. Yet for these several months I have my doubts of him.
I suppose it could be chalked up to the influence of the party system in D.C.
(I have watched Higgins for nigh two decades.)
He is a Traitor. A spineless scumbag politician who should hang.
ReplyDeletePence is too nice a guy for the need of the Union today.
ReplyDeleteMoral fiber yet lacking moral courage in essential areas. Niceness trumps need for him when the chips are down.
He talks moral but when the chips were down he acted to support the swamp instead of doing what was right.
DeleteHis actions in the last year Trump was in office showed his real character - and it wasn't pretty!
Reminds me of the crowded GOP primary crowd in 2016. The 'Stars' thought they would use Trump popularity to gain voters. They vastly under estimated Trump, then and now.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why both parties are so scared of Trump. If he he gain the nomination, I hope he's learned that RINOS (Democrat Lite) are far more troublesome than the Left. RINOS will stab you in the back at the same time they claim to by an ally. The Left is openly against you.
Why does the GOPe want another mush in the race? That dilutes the money and votes and makes TRUMP stronger (of which I support)
