Rainy Friday

 Awakening to a slow, steady rain, I decided this morning to do a little pawn ship crawling.  SO, belle and I set out after coffee. We started at Silver Dollar, which was once my favorite.  IT's barely open and had nothing that interested me.  So, we went to South Circle Pawn, which is strangely shuttered.  Closed up tight..  The other option was Alexandria Pawn, which is likewise closed.  The sign said Permanently Closed.

I know that times are hard for some businesses, but I had always heard that the two best for an economic downtrun were pawn shops and organized crime.  In the local area, three shops that have survived for decades are shuttered.  That is a damned shame.
