I went to my semi-annual doctors visit today ad when the Doc decided that my numbers looked okay, we devolved into a discussion about the merits of Scotch whisky. He has a fondness for McAllen 12, which I agree is a very nice single malt. We talked about Islay Scotch, and Lowland Scotch, and several varieties of bourbon whiskey. We are both amazed that Turkey 101 makes it on so many "best bourbons" lists, but it is good bourbon.
As I was leaving, his last words to me were, "Less cigarettes, more whiskey."
That is medical advise I can get behind. I think I"ll have a drink.
Good advise. The cigarettes are gonna kill you. Just drink more.
