It's apparent now to everyone that the Supreme Court will pick and choose which cases they want to hear. They can choose to reject cases that fall under their original jurisdiction.
It is also apparent that individual states can ignore their own legislatures and drag the goalposts around during an election and that no one will call them to task for doing so.
It is apparent that electoral shenanigans will be rewarded by victory.
Joe Biden will be sworn in as President of the United States. It is essential that we accept this outcome even if we are disgusted at the outcome.
I detested the Obama years while believing that he had won fairly. I enjoyed the Trump years while believing that his rancorous tweeting was not helpful. I'm not sure how I will yet feel about the Biden term, but at this point I am not entirely sure that the vote was on the up-and-up. Ye, the challenges are over and the Presidency will change hands.
I'm sure that we will hear calls for unity. Fat chance. If my initial misgivings are correct, the next four years are going to be a wild ride. The four horsemen are upon us, and we must try to save the soul of a nation.
It does look grim but hope springs eternal . Miss Sidney is still loose . Ever notice how much she looks like a pretty Margret Thatcher? She is one smart gal ! When the fat lady sings then we get to be the resistance if Kamala is the new prez . That will be great fun .
ReplyDeleteI think many are shocked and frightened at the levels of treason, and are scared to address it. A robe doesn't protect a justice from a pillow over the face. I will consider the coup designees as an illegitimate group. If thugs just appoint the President, why vote? Trump has more guts, and integrity than the rest of the pack of quislings making up our government and other entities. I hope he wins out, and I am paying attention to who is stabbing him in the back, including apparently, our own Senator Cornyn here in Texas.
ReplyDeleteWe've been left with only one box left, as legacy news and big tech have robbed us of a meaningful soap box, the Democrats have demonstrated that no matter how blatant the fraud there will never be another legitimate ballot box, and SCOTUS has shown us there is no longer an option at the jury box.
ReplyDeleteMay God have mercy on our souls. Pass the ammunition around, we're going to need it before this ride is through.
Concur. It's done. Now we have to hunker down and plan for the future.
ReplyDeleteThe Supreme court should realize that it will be determining whether we will have a future of LAW- or of slavery. If they choose the wrong path, they will not only be choosing another Presidential administration, they will be nullifying every single one of our country’s documents produced since the Declaration of Independence. Every law. Every bit of the Constitution. Every “right” in the Bill of Rights. And every legal institution we have, including courts of law, law enforcement agencies, Congress, States, state legislatures, governorships, and every other vestige of so-called government. There will be nothing left of our organized form of society. If we want to have a set of laws and an orderly society, we will have to start completely over from nothing. Because all we will have left, if we are no longer able to even choose our own leaders and representatives, is slavery. That is why the Supreme court decision is so important. If America is enslaved, the rest of the world will follow.
ReplyDeleteWe need to pray and pray HARD. If we do not prevail in court, we will be fighting a hot war on January 20th 2021. God help us.
What were some of your strategies during the obama years? I'm resigned to the awful truth that slow joe and the ho are going to occupy that grand old house.
ReplyDeleteI'm creating life strategies now to mitigate the expected high inflation, high interest rates, high taxes and low morals that they represent.
What are y'all strategies for life now that we are going to get obama 3.0?
I wonder how many Timothy McVeighs, Andrew Joseph Stacks, and Christopher Dorners were just created by SCOTUS's punt?
ReplyDeleteIt ain't over until it's over. There are other suits before the Supreme court. And there are the state legislatures to be heard from. The electors are to be seated on Dec. 14th, but they do not vote until Jan. 6th if I understand it correctly.
ReplyDeleteMy strategies have not changed since the Obama years. I am preparing for a war. I stocked up on food and other supplies in case of a World War similar to WWII where food, clothing, and other things were rationed. And I have stockpiled ammo in case it is a civil war. I don't know but it sure looks like a civil war is starting if and when Joe or Kamala is installed as an illegitimate president. We will have no other option.
