For the second time in my lifetime, we awake the morning after a major election and don't know who the winner might be. The first I recall is the 2000 "hanging chad" debacle in Florida. Now, we have the multi-state mail-in ballot Some states may not yet have received all the ballots that ere cast, allowing extra time for the Post Office to deliver the mail.
As Joe Stalin some famously said, it doesn't matter who voted, what matters is who is counting the votes.
We'll just have to wait and see.
I'm going to the woods this morning. Maybe we'll know more when I get back.
