The study at a major Paris hospital suggests a substance in tobacco – possibly nicotine – may be stopping patients who smoke from catching Covid-19. Clinical trials of nicotine patches are awaiting the approval of the country’s health authorities. That's not the craziest thing I've heard today, but today ain't over yet, either.
But if you smoke and do catch it you are in for a wild ride . The wife and I had it back at the end of February . She doesn't smoke but I do . She had a bad fever first night but was all over it next morning . I hacked and coughed for a whole week and it felt like my lungs were on fire . Smoked much less that week though Ha!Ha!Ha!
