Side views, muzzle view, identifying marks (serial number area and/or damage/blemishes on the milsurps); I tucked an encrypted memory card and a burned CD copy, also encrypted, into a fire-safe location. A copy also got sent to a trusted relative as backup.Rich Jordannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12389938.post-27663228710902278232009-07-21T19:47:03.327-05:002009-07-21T19:47:03.327-05:00I use a program called Gun Safe, it's been aro...I use a program called Gun Safe, it's been around for years. I've got a section for notes and list such things as barrel length, sights, scopes, that sort of thing.Pawpawhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14959820068377494313noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12389938.post-92199349916946100922009-07-21T12:01:18.772-05:002009-07-21T12:01:18.772-05:00Another good thing to add to the inventory list is...Another good thing to add to the inventory list is identifying marks for each gun, i.e., something other than a serial number which makes the gun one of a kind. I usually write something such as my initials inside a barrel channel, etc.

My T-C Contender description, for example, says, "Butt sling swivel stud drilled 1/4" off to the right side."Jnoreply@blogger.com
