If I were young now, I would refuse to register with Selective Services, and I so advised my stepson, so long as he was willing to accept the consequences. It didn't really matter, because he joined the USMC.<br />If you're an adult at 18, then you can vote, drink, marry, and buy a sidearm. If you cannot do any of these, apparently you are not considered an adult, & I don't believe you should be required to fight for the the right to do any of these things, so long as they are denied to you.
