Running errands today I went to a sign shop and had a sign printed. The guy wasn't busy and had a humongous priner, and in a few minutes, he had taken care of me.
Now, I need to decide where in the shop I am going to hang it. If you know, you know.
Interesting. The only Fiddler’s Green I ever heard about was a colony planet in a couple of Heinlien sci-fi novels. A little research tells me it’s an old old term for a Valhalla like place for old sailors (or their spirits in the afterworld). Nothing I saw had any connection to sabers, or army cavalry specifically. So what is Fiddler’s Green in your world? I am truly curious!
That is a nice one! "Halfway down the trail to hell, In a shady meadow green, Are the souls of many departed troopers camped Near a good old-time canteen. And this eternal resting place Is known as Fiddler's Green."
Aah, I didn’t see your link. Thanks. I think we all know the tune but not the words. And it’s a better name than “Done Roamin” by far. Just make sure you keep enough good bourbon on hand for any old horse soldiers who drop by.Thanks, and cheers!
