The opposition in Iran is led by the son of the deceased Shah, Reza Pahlavi. He claims to want to see Iran be free and democratic. Toward that goal, he seems to be cajoling the Iranian people to reject the mullahs and turn away from extremism.
I wish him all the luck. The Iranian people deserve better than the mullahs.
That they do. As long as Pahlavi doesn't go back to the 'old' ways...

ReplyDeleteThe former Shaw's son was raised in Italy and France. So that's the type of governments he been raised with. I doubt the Shaw had good things to say about the Americans as at that time backing the mullah's. His mother was a drop dead gorgeous women in those days.
