We're back from our weekend getaway. Had a ball, enjoyed good company and good food. Quite the enjoyable two days. Learned some things, saw some family, just an altogether lovely weekend.
I was kind of surfing around on the smartphone and saw that our President has decided to not decide on Syria. Said he'd let Congress decide, then went to play golf. Great leadership there. John "Flipper" Kerry was on the Sunday talk shows trying to make sense out of the nonsensical that is currently happening in this administration.
I don't know what to think about this Syria mess, and evidently, our President doesn't think about it much at all. He decides to not decide, then takes in a round of golf. Lovely leadership. What is he thinking? What are the Syrians thinking? What are the Israelis thinking? Frankly, it seems to me like a continuation of our President's legislative career, where he voted Present on everything. Then, presumably, hit the links.
I hope our country survives until this bozo is retired. Only problem is that there isn't any great Republican leadership in the wings. We're screwed.
