President Barack Obama declined to take any questions from reporters about his controversial and significant decision to offer a de-facto amnesty to at least 800,000 foreigners aged 15 to 30.Then he got testy when a reporter tried to ask questions. The Daily Caller explains:
The president has often used this no-questions strategy when making important or poll-boosting announcements. It allows him to deliver his message to his target audience, uncluttered by awkward questions. He speaks smoothly and finishes very rapidly, leaving assertive reporters few chances to ask a question before he reaches the refuge of the Oval Office door.Well, okay, he's offering amnesty to illegals during a time of huge unemployment. Obviously a political ploy that he knows will never make it through Congress. Then he gets testy when reporters ask questions. Just exactly what is a reporters job? To get the story. How do they do that? By asking questions.
Oh, and if this President thinks that he won't get push-back, he ain't seen nothing yet. This guy is patently inept. That might become my new catch-phrase to describe the President. Patently inept.
