(CNSNews.com) - Twenty-five Notre Dame faculty members--led by the university’s top ethics expert, and including some of the school’s most eminent scholars--have signed a statement declaring that President Barack Obama’s latest version of his administration’s mandate that all health insurance plans in the United States must cover sterilizations and all FDA-approved contraceptives, including those that cause abortions, is “a grave violation of religious freedom and cannot stand."A grave violation of religious freedom. Hmmm. This is the same Notre Dame University that gave him an honorary Juris Doctor degree in May 2009.
The Catholic Bishops, and all other persons of good will and conscience are learning that our President is only concerned with his agenda, and when the Constitution conflicts with his agenda it can be conveniently ignored. As I recall, the President took an oath to "preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States". That is his only oath, and he consistently abrogates it.
He's have been better off if he'd invited all the Catholic Bishops to the White House, and had kicked each one of them squarely in the nuts. The outrage would have been less severe.
The sooner this pretender is removed from office, the better off we'll all be.

There are a lot of "catholics" who will have some 'splainin to do when they meet their end.
Yeah, David, lots of folks are going to have some explaining to do when they meet their end. Catholics, Methodists, Muslims. None of us are exempt. However, I expect the Church to defend their teachings, and I expect the Church to defend religious freedom.
Gotta remember, he only cares about ONE religion, and Christianity ain't it...
