The Obama administration will unveil a “more realistic” vision for the military on Thursday, with plans to cut tens of thousands of ground troops and invest more in air and sea power at a time of fiscal restraint, officials familiar with the plans said on Wednesday.I'm a fan of air and sea power, but we still need boots on the ground.
Two things Mr. President. Where are you going to get 20,000 boots (each soldier has two) to stand on the ground when you need to hold it? And what are "tens of thousands" of high school graduates going to do to find work? Historically, high school graduates made up the lion's share of the first-time enlistments and if those slots go away, where are we going to find private soldiers?
Our President is an idiot.

it makes me think (along with some other stuff I've read about recently) that less American troops, means a better excuse to call in UN troops...I think he forgets that those US troops will still be HERE and even LESS likely to "go along" with any hanky panky the O has in store for America.
