Texas Can't Keep the Lights On.

Our Obama administration is at it again, making it harder for Americans to live in the manner they've become accustomed. You want cheap electricity? Tough! The EPA is implementing new regulations to make sure that your electric prices jump. The non-partisan Electric Reliability Council of Texas has taken note and has issued a wake-up call.
This is one of those cases where we believe it is our role to voice our concern that Texas could face a shortage of generation necessary to keep the lights on in Texas within a few years, if the EPA’s Cross-State Rule is implemented as written.
It seems that the EPA wants to rewrite emissions regulations for coal-fired plants and want the new regs to take effect next year.

Yeah, that's a great idea in the midst of a recession. Let's make electricity more expensive. While we're at it, lets float the idea of a fleet of electric cars, with electric charging stations dotting the nation. Great idea!

I've got a better idea. Let's abolish the EPA, shut it down, brick it up. I haven't seen that they've done anything but hamper, restrict and regulate, so we don't need them in a free America. Net savings? $8.6 billion next year. That's a drop in the bucket, but every little bit helps. I blame this on our President too.
