The Health Care Debate

There's a lot of fuss about health care and our Congress critters are trying to figure it out. I see today that this old canard has resurfaced.
President Barack Obama has been pushing for more than a year for action to cover tens of millions of uninsured Americans without adding to the deficit.
If our President believes that he can insure tens of millions of uninsured people without driving up the deficit, then I've got a bridge in Brooklyn I'd like to sell him. Two of them, in fact.

I guess it's time to drag out this old graphic as a reminder of what he's trying to do to us. There is no telling what the new graphic will look like if he manages to push through this monstrosity.

He went on record today as saying that he doesn't spend a lot of time worrying about what the rules are.

He'd do well to focus on what he knows best. Whatever that is.

I wonder why the health insurance companies are so dead set against health care reform?

I don't know about the health care companies, but the doctors I've spoken with are dead-set against it. My wife works for two surgeons who believe that it will hurt them. One has daughers in high school, but he says that he won't practice a minute longer than he needs to put them through college.
