AP source: Obama focusing on al-Qaida, not Taliban

You can't make this up. Our President is thinking about letting the Taliban have a say in the Afghan government.
Bowing to the reality that the Taliban is too ingrained in Afghanistan's culture to be entirely defeated, the administration is prepared, as it has been for some time, to accept some Taliban role in parts of Afghanistan, the official said.
If that's his strategy, he needs to pull our troops out starting today.

Sounds like surrender to me.

It's not surrender. It's facing reality.

Focusing on al-Qaida, and not the Taliban in this war is as if, in the 1940's "War on Aviation and Tanks", Roosevelt and Churchill focused on the SS only rather than the armies that allied with the Nazis (Vichy and the Italian Fascists, mostly, but also Rumania and Hungary, too). For that matter, it is like focusing on Hitler and Goring and ignoring all the other Nazis. The Islamicists won't give up and play nice just because Osama Bin Laden dies. The leftists ought to understand that, I mean President Obama won't become a Reagan Republican just because William Ayers or Saul Alinsky die.
Cretins.
No, that insults real cretins.
TRAITORS and willfull fools.

A TRAITOR is one willing to waste our treasure and children in an endless war. We're not fighting a country or even a people. We're fighting an idea, a mindset. And we're losing.

"A TRAITOR..."
I agree, the president should bring home our forces today. Until he does, he's a traitor.
